Jio misplaced 1.9 crore cellular subscribers in September, Airtel provides round 3 lakh customers, as per TRAI

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on Tuesday launched subscriber knowledge for the month of September 2021. Airtel added 2.74 lakh cellular subscribers in September whereas Jio and Vodafone Thought misplaced 1.9 crore customers and 10.77 lakh subscribers respectively. Airtel gained a 0.08 per cent market share of wi-fi subscribers, whereas Reliance Jio’s consumer base declined 4.29 per cent in September.

As of September 30, 2021, the non-public entry service suppliers held 89.99 per cent market share of the wi-fi subscribers whereas BSNL and MTNL, the 2 PSU entry service suppliers, had a market share of solely 10.01 per cent.
