New Delhi: IGNOU is prone to begin 4 on-line programs from July even because the varsity has recognized 85 on-line programmes.

The varsity will begin MA in Hindi and three certificates programmes after receiving approval from the College Grants Fee, Indira Gandhi Nationwide Open College’s (IGNOU) vice-chancellor Professor Nageshwar Rao mentioned.

The open college has submitted a proposal to the UGC and is awaiting their affirmation. Different universities have additionally submitted proposals to the UGC.

The varsity has established a centre for on-line training and the centre has recognized 85 on-line programmes, together with 46 undergraduate/postgraduate certificates, 22 diploma/put up graduate diploma, two undergraduate, six postgraduate and 4 consciousness/refresher/appreciation programmes to be launched on-line.

Measures for capability constructing of school, conversion of standard to on-line mode and identification of e-counsellors and evaluators are being initiated accordingly.

The varsity had on-line programs round 2011 however they have been discontinued.
